Localizer Plane Quiz

The Localizer Plane Quiz randomly positions planes around the localizer - Figure 1.

Figure 1 - New Quiz

One of the planes is selected as the correct answer.  Then the VOR and HSI Indicators are set - Figure 2:

The VOR and HSI indications are controlled by the Service Volume of the localizer and glide slope. Review  how the Service Volume has been implemented to assist you in selecting the correct localizer plane(s).

The possible steps are:

  1. New Quiz - relocates the planes and creates a new correct plane. It is possible that more than one plane will be the correct answer.
  2. Select plane -  when you select a plane by clicking on it, it is compared to the correct indication.
  3. Correct, there are X more answers, chose again - this will continue until "Quiz complete!"
  4. Quiz Complete! - you have chosen all of the correct answers - Figure 4.
  5. Show answer - will highlight all the correct answers in green - Figure 4.
