Rent the Flight Trainer

The Flight Trainer can be rented for $8.50 per hour with a one hour minimum and you have access to all the training aids. To use the rental edition of Flight Trainer, you must be connected to the Internet.

The Flight Trainer Rental Edition can be installed on your computer or you can use it as an applet that is downloaded each time.

Getting Started

    To rent the Flight Trainer, you need to create an account,, purchase time, install the Flight Trainer, and enjoy! Clicking here will guide you through these three steps.

    Create an account

    Click here to create an account by creating a username and password on our servers. The Flight Trainer Rental Edition will ask you for this username and password when you want to use it. Also from your user account, you will able to:

    1. Purchase more time with majority of your non-credit card information filled in,
    2. Review your rental account balance,
    3. Change your login information, and
    4. Change your profile.

    Installing the Flight Trainer

    The Flight Trainer Rental requires that JVM v1.4 (Java Virtual Machine) or higher is installed on your computer.  Please follow this link to determine if you have the correct version..

How it works

    When you purchase time, you will create an account on the Flying Dynamics servers that keep track of how much time you have purchased and used. As long as you have credit balance, you will be able to use the Flight Trainer.

    You must remain connected with the Internet and able to access our servers to use the Flight Trainer. Should your connection to the Internet be lost:

    • You will be able to use the training aids until the next billing unit occurs.
    • You will not be able to access any help for the training aids.

    When the next billing unit occurs, the Flight Trainer will contact our server to determine if you have time available:

    • If so, your use will be uninterruped.
    • If not, you will no longer be able to access the training aids until you purchase more time.

    You are billed in tenths of an hour (just like the Hobbs meter).
