Flying Dynamics currently offers two additions of the Flight Trainer - Personal Use and Rental:

Personal Use edition

You use this edition when you purchase or evaluate the Flight Trainer.

The current version is V3_0_4 and was released November 14, 2003.

Supported platforms

Windows - The current Flight Trainer has installers for Windows based computers.

Mac OS X - The current Flight Trainer has installers for Mac OSX 11.2.6 or higer.

Pure Java - The current Flight Trainer has a "pure java" installer which will install this version on computers running Java 1.4 or higher. This installer has been tested on Windows and Macs. If you encounter difficulties on other platforms, please contact us.

Product updates and new releases

Invalid license message

A Java bug on Windows causes the Flight Trainer licensing to display an "invalid license" message and disables access to the training aids. This occurred after the which from Daylight Savings to Standard time

Corrective action

Download and install V3_0_4 or later
Start the Flight Trainer
Note your Host ID on the About/License tab
Email your Host ID and Customer ID to licensing@flyingdynamics.com
We will you a new license for the product you purchased
